WALDEN
A fir tree, a journey, a film, an exhibition and a publication. In WALDEN 1`500 wooden slats are going on an unusual journey. By train, truck, boat and hand, they travel from Europe to South America into the rainforest and back.

The project WALDEN consists of an action, a film, an installation and a publication. The action, the transport of a stack of wooden strips from Europe to the Amazon, was carried out in 2017. The film was completed in 2018 and has meanwhile met with great interest at many film festivals.
